Hindle Wakes

A factory mill girl has some fun with a wealthy gentleman.  His father is embarrassed and insists that he propose to the girl.  Only the girl is more independent than they took her for.  This movie is kind of shocking for a 20's movie.  There's definitely a feminism vibe.  It's a British silent film with no star I've heard of yet it's pretty good.
