My Name is Julia Ross is a short pretty effective noir from Joseph H. Lewis the guy who did
Gun Crazy. It's about a girl who is hired into a job little does she know she signed up for a nightmare. She is held hostage in the house and told that she is someone's wife. I applaud TCM for their Film Noir Classics collection. They really dig up treasure that would just be left rot to otherwise.
