The Holly and the Ivy

I saw this 1950s British movie to try to get into the Christmas mood but it was kind of bleak. It's about three adults and their relationship with their parson father. They keep everything from him even the death of one of their children. They fail to see and eventually do realize that he is more understanding and less judgmental than they think. It stars Ceila Johnson who was in Brief Encounter. It also stars Denholm Elliott. I kept wondering where I had seen him the whole movie. Then I realized he was the old man in the Indiana Jones movies.
