This was a cute late British 30's movie starring ukulele singer George Formby. He plays a clumsy guy who is in love with a girl but her mother dismisses him because of his poverty. Meanwhile he accidentally breaks the master of a song at work, so he replaces it with his own version. When he gets fired, George thinks all is lost. But then his version hits the charts and everything works out for the better. If you like Cliff Edwards, you will probably like George Formby. I'll be watching more of his movies. I thought it was charming.
