Frederic March plays an elderly widower who falls in love with a twenty four year old woman played by Kim Novak. I like this movie because it doesn't make him out to be a creep but it's way too long. It's two hours. It would have been better if it were cut twenty or thirty mintues. Meanwhile the rest of the supporting characters complain about the age difference making the characters feel even more uncomfortable about the relatioship. Will the relationship survive? I didn't realize how young Kim Novak was in her brief film career and she retired quite early.
