The Midshipmaid Gob

This was a Jessie Matthews movie when she was just beginning. She was the best thing in it by a long shot. It wasn't that good. This was John Mills' debut. He was an established British actor and he's also known for being Hayley Mills' dad. The small plot concerns the crew of a navy shop putting on a talent show. Jessie Matthews would later have a pretty good filmography. She did the first Victor/Victoria.
