This is a forgotten noir that's been having a resurgence lately. Joan Leslie plays a stage actress who killed her husband on New Year's Eve and finds that she's been given the chance to redo the previous year. Only she finds herself making the same mistakes. The ending was cool.
SPOILER: I like how the gay mad guy was the hero. I found him more sane than her drunken husband.
